• Image of Taos Starry Night

I painted this as part of a project about a girl who dreamed of studying all the things she marveled over: the night sky, fluttering moths, animals in the desert at night--she wanted to study her relation to all these things in the universe despite the consternation and sometimes laughter of those around her. I got so many inquiries about this painting that I wanted to make it a print for you and to inspire little girls and boys everywhere to keep dreaming bigger especially when it seems the hardest.

Partial proceeds from the sale of this work will go toward Women for Women International, working with marginalized women in countries of conflict, providing support, education and training programs to empower them both socially and economically.

This is an archival 8" x 10" giclée print of an original acrylic gouache painting on watercolor paper in an edition of 15.
The original is also on offer below.

*framing notes--since I like to go right up to the edge of my paper with detail, I recommend a floating mount. If you have any questions I’m happy to help!
